Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Lobby ("we") about your use of Lobby. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Community Guidelines. If you download Lobby from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; if they conflict, these terms govern to the extent allowed by Apple.
1. Who can use Lobby
You must be at least 18, able to form a binding contract, and not barred from using Lobby. One account per person. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.
2. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
You may not post or send content, or behave in a way, that breaks the Community Guidelines — including harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, impersonation, spam or anything illegal. We filter content, review reports within 24 hours, and may remove content, hide it, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal activity to authorities, at our discretion and without notice.
3. Your content
You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process it only to operate and improve Lobby and keep it safe. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and that your photos and Instagram account are your own.
4. Verification and location
Selfie verification, Instagram handles and location checks reduce risk but can't guarantee anyone's identity, intentions or where they live. Lobby doesn't run background checks.
5. Meeting people
You're responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Meet in public places, trust your instincts, and report anything that feels wrong. We aren't responsible for members' conduct.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Lobby: no scraping, automated access, spoofing your location to join another community, reverse engineering, interfering with security, or using Lobby for commercial purposes.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
8. Disclaimers
Lobby is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for the conduct of any member. Our total liability is limited to $100.
10. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
11. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, isn't responsible for product claims or IP claims about Lobby, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms who may enforce them against you.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; we'll ask you to accept important changes in the app.
